6-7 October 2011 in Warsaw within the Polish EU Presidency will hold a "Meeting of the Commission Group of National EIA and SEA Experts". It is a regular meeting of EIA/SEA national experts from Member States with the European Commission. It takes place every 6 months in the country that chairs the EU Presidency. The role of the Group is to provide advice and expertise to the European Commission in relation to the coordination and cooperation with Member States, the implementation of the EIA/SEA Directives and the preparation of legislative proposals and policy initiatives.
